LANSING – State Representative Tim Bledsoe (D-Grosse Pointe) is inviting members of the community to join him for coffee in October and November to discuss state and community issues.
"These informal sessions are a great way for me to hear what issues are important to you and the community," Bledsoe said. "As I vote on the tough issues in Lansing, I want to make sure I hear a wide variety of opinions from my constituents."
The coffee hours will be held on the following Mondays:
- Oct. 5, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Biggby Coffee, 18480 Mack Ave. in Grosse Pointe Farms.
- Oct. 5, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Grosse Pointe Public Library, Ewald Branch, 15175 E. Jefferson Ave. in Grosse Pointe Park.
- Oct. 12, from 11 a.m. to noon at the Harper Woods Library, 19601 Harper Ave. in Harper Woods.
- Oct. 19, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at McDonald's, 16950 Harper Ave. in Detroit.
- Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Biggby Coffee, 18480 Mack Ave. in Grosse Pointe Farms.
- Nov. 2, from 11 a.m. to noon at the Grosse Pointe Public Library, Woods Branch, Lower Level Room, 20680 Mack Ave. in Grosse Pointe Woods.
